Child and Family Investigation
If you are involved in the court to settle matters of parental responsibility (formerly referred to as custody), visitation, and other matters that pertain to your child(ren), you may benefit from the services of a Child and Family Investigator, or CFI. The CFI serves as the appointed investigative arm of the court. What this means is that the CFI is responsible for gathering information from all relevant sources, formulating recommendations, and reporting to the court concerning the child's best interests.
Mile High Counseling and Consulting provides fair, and objective investigation and assessment. Techniques utilized will consist of face to face interviews with the child(ren), each of the parents, and other relevant parties. Additional important information may also be obtained from your child's school, or other relevant sources.
David Yingling has over ten years of professional experience with children, youth, and families. He has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the "best interests" of children. He prepares excellent, detailed reports and recommendations. David also has personal experience with post-decree modification of parental responsibility and parenting time, so he is passionate about delivering quality CFI services.
